Google's QuickOffice software, built into Chrome OS, fared better than Google Sheets, perhaps because it doesn't have to worry about compatibility with Google Sheets. Google Sheets made a hash out of a fairly unsophisticated Excel spreadsheet, overwriting words and dropping a graphic altogether.
